(Order of the Court was made by N.SATHISH KUMAR.J.,) The petition has been filed seeking to condone the delay of 2108 days in filing the above appeal against the order of conviction. 2.

Mr.M.V.Ramachandramurthy, learned Additional Public Prosecutor (Pondy) is before this Court on behalf of the respondent.

3. Though the reasons stated in the supporting affidavit is not sufficient to condone the inordinate delay of 2108 days, considering the fact that the appellant is undergoing sentence for a long period and he was unable engage a lawyer to file appeal and the appeal being the statutory right, we are inclined to condone the inordinate delay of 2108 days.

4. Accordingly, this appeal is allowed and the delay of 2108 days in filing the appeal is condoned.
