ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the second respondent to deal with the representation made by the petitioner on 29.09.2025 wherein the petitioner has sought removal of the name of fourth respondent from the patta with respect to the subject property.

2. Heard Mr.P.Muthamizhselvakumar, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.N.Naveen Kumar, learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents 1 to 3.

3. The specific case of the petitioner is that his father is the absolute owner of the subject property and the patta stood in his name. 2/4

While so, the fourth respondent had managed to include her name in the patta issued in Patta No.934. Under such circumstances, the petitioner submitted a representation to second respondent on 29.09.2025 seeking removal of the name of the fourth respondent from the patta. Since the same was not considered, the present writ petition has been filed.

4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to second respondent to deal with the representation made by the petitioner on 29.09.2025 on its own merits and in accordance with law after affording opportunity to the petitioner and fourth respondent and pass final orders within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
