Mr. S.Ravichandran, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents.
2. The petitioner claims to be a devotee of A/m. Maakaliamman Temple at Kugalur Village, Thazhaikombu Pudur, Gobichettipalayam Taluk, Erode District. The said temple is a non-listed temple. According to the petitioner, the said temple has been renovated with the contribution from devotees and Kumbabhishekam is yet to be performed.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that the Board of Trustees had a proposal to celebrate Pongal festival without completion of renovation or repair or consecration of any deity, the ceremony of Kumbabhishekam, which is against the settled customary practice.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in this regard, a representation has been given to the third respondent /Assistant Commissioner to decide the issue.
5. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the representation dated 06.10.2025 will be considered and disposed of on merits after giving an opportunity to the petitioner.

In the light of the above, this Writ Petition stands disposed of directing the third respondent / Assistant Commissioner to enquire into the petitioner's representation dated 06.10.2025 after giving opportunity to the petitioner by way of personal hearing and pass final orders within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
