This writ petition has been filed for direction to the second respondent to furnish deposition copies of the witnesses. 2.
The petitioner while working as Section Officer in the Office of the Tamilnadu Public Service Commission, he was served with charge memo in pursuant to the registration of FIR in crime No.273 of 2017 for the offence punishable under Sections 465 & 471 of IPC alleging that the petitioner involved in malpractice that occurred in the Group I Mains Written Examination conducted in the year 2016. Enquiry Officer was appointed and enquiry was proceeded with. During the enquiry, nearly 20 2/5
witnesses were examined by the disciplinary authority. However, the petitioner was not served with any copy of the depositions. 3.
The learned counsel for the petitioner pointed that as per the guidelines issued for the disciplinary proceedings, the petitioner is entitled for copies of deposition on the same day of enquiry of each witness.

In view of the above, the second respondent is directed to provide copies of the deposition of the witnesses within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of this Order. 5.
With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
