This petition has been filed to modify the condition imposed on the petitioner in Crl.M.P.No.6662 of 2025 dated 23.10.2025 on the file of the learned Principal Special Court for EC and NDPS Act, Chennai.

2. It is submitted that the learned Principal Special Court under EC and NDPS Act, Chennai by an order dated 23.10.2025 in Crl.M.P.No.6662 of 2025 granted statutory bail to the petitioner with one of the condition that the petitioner shall appear before the respondent police daily at 10.30.a..m., for a period of 15 days from the date of release. Now, petitioner has come forward with this petition seeking modification of the said condition stating that there is likelihood of registration of false case against him by the respondent police and hence he is ready to appear before the concerned Court.

3. In view of the above submission, the condition is modified to the effect that the petitioner shall appear and sign before the learned V Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore for a period of 15 days and the other conditions shall remain unaltered.

4. With the above modification, this Criminal Original Petition is ordered.
