CMP.No.26656 of 2025 has been filed seeking permission to deposit the amount as ordered by this Court in C.M.P. No.17748 of 2025, dated 23.07.2025.

2. A perusal of the order passed by this Court in the above mentioned Civil Miscellaneous Petition dated 23.07.2025 would indicate that interim stay has been granted in favour of the petitioner on condition that the petitioner should pay 50% of the interim maintenance within six weeks. He was also directed to pay future maintenance amount on or before 10 th of every succeeding month. Instead of paying the amount to the respondent, the petitioner filed a lodgement schedule before the Family Court, Pondicherry in I.A.No.984 of 2022. The same was not accepted by the Family Court, Pondicherry as this Court directed to pay the amount to the respondent. The 1/3

instant petition has been filed seeking permission to deposit the amount before the Family Court, Pondicherry.

3. When this Court granted conditional stay directing the petitioner to pay 50% of the interim maintenance amount directly to the respondent, he is not entitled to seek permission to deposit the amount before the Family Court, Pondicherry.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is ready to pay the amount by way of Demand Draft in the name of the respondent within one week.

5. Recording the same, CMP.No.26656 of 2025 is dismissed.
