The petitioner herein, who is an accused in S.C.No.132 of 2023 pending on the file of the learned Sessions Judge, Magalir Neethi Mandram, Fast Track Mahila Court, Vellore, Vellore District, had jumped bail on 17.02.2025. He was secured on execution of non bailable warrant after an order dated 07.09.2025. He seeks for bail stating that he is in prison from 07.09.2025.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that there are totally 14 accused involved in this case, in which the petitioner was ranked as A7 and he is in custody for more than one month. He further submitted that the petitioner is ready to abide by any conditions that may be imposed by this Court and sought for bail to the petitioner.

The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent while opposing the bail to the petitioners, reiterated the prosecution case and stated that totally there are 14 accused involved in this case and all the other accused were regularly appearing and the case is posted on 31.10.2025 for framing of charges.

4. Considering the fact that due to absconding of this petitioner, the trial is stalled and the case is pending for framing of charges. If the petitioner is released on bail, there is a likelihood of him jumping bail, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
