ORDER

The petitioner, who apprehends arrest for the alleged offence under Section 4(1)(A) of TNP Amendment Act, 2024 in Cr.No.334 of 2025 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail. 1/4

2. This Court dismissed the petitioner's earlier anticipatory bail petition on the following reasons:

" considering the nature of the dispute, since the petitioner is a bar owner and has two previous cases against him and considering the fact that the petitioner was an illegal possession of liquor, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner".

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that though two previous cases were cited against the petitioner while dismissing the earlier anticipatory bail petition, both those cases have ended in acquittal. Hence, he prayed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. However, since a huge quantity of liquor was seized in the present case, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. 21.11.2025 Vv 2/4
