O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by N.SATHISH KUMAR, J.) This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the Central Administrative Tribunal, Chennai Bench to dispose of O.A.No.1106 of 2018.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that O.A.No.1106 of 2018 has been filed against the order of dismissal dated 17.10.2017. It was submitted that though this Court vide order dated 16.03.2023 in W.P.No.8143 of 2023 directed the Tribunal to dispose of the application within a period of 4 months from the date of receipt of copy of the order, the application has not been disposed of till date. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed for the very same relief.

3. It is seen that though this Court had already directed the Central Administrative Tribunal, Chennai Bench to dispose of O.A.No.1106 of 2018 vide order dated 16.03.2023, the application has not been disposed of till date. We are of the view that when the positive direction is given by this Court, the same has to be followed by the Tribunal and the Tribunal cannot 2/4

violate the orders of this Court. Though non-compliance of the orders of this Court is apparent, we once again direct the Central Administrative Tribunal, Chennai Bench to dispose of O.A.No.1106 of 2018 within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. There shall be no order as to costs.
