Respondent(s) PRAYER Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 2 and 3 to survey and demarcate the boundaries of lands in S.Nos. 15/3A2, to an extent of 29.5 cents, 15/3G2 to an extent of 10.5 cents, 16/1A2, to an extent of 24.75 cents and 16/1J2 to an extent of 18 cents (totally 82.75 cents) situated at Soorapalli Revenue Village, Mettur Taluk, Salem District based on the application of the petitioner dated 30.09.2025 consequently direct the 2nd respondent to transfer the patta in the name of petitioner as per the registered sale deed dated 08.09.2025 in Doc. No.5611 of 2025 on the file of the Sub-Registrar, Jalakandapuram, Salem District. For Petitioner(s):

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for the issue of a writ of mandamus directing the 2nd and 3rd respondents to act upon the application submitted by the petitioner on 30.09.2025, wherein the petitioner is seeking for the survey of the subject property and for demarcation of the boundaries. 2.Heard Mr.M.R. Jothimanian, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.S.Arumugam, learned Government Advocate for R1 to R3 and Mr.L.Baskaran, learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) for R4. 3.The petitioner is claiming right and title over the subject property through registered sale deed dated 08.9.2025 registered as Document No.5611 of 2025. The petitioner is also relying upon the patta that stands in the name of the petitioner's vendor. The petitioner submitted an application on 30.09.2025 seeking for the survey of the subject property and for demarcation of the boundaries. Since the sane was not acted upon, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.

4.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the 2nd and 3rd respondents to act upon the application submitted by the petitioner on 30.09.2025 and to conduct the survey in the subject property based on the title document and the patta that stands in the name of the petitioner's vendor and complete the process within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of the order. If there are any other interested parties, such survey shall be conducted in their presence.
