ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Heard learned counsel for the parties.

2. In response to the allegation that the respondent authorities are guilty of inaction and not taking steps towards removal of encroachment in the form of septic tank and pipelines, despite representation dated 16.8.2025, learned State counsel submits that, on representation submitted, survey was conducted recently and the survey report is being forwarded to the competent authority, the Block Development Officer/respondent No.2, for taking appropriate action.

3. From what has been stated by learned State counsel, we are satisfied that the respondent authorities have initiated proceedings.

Therefore, we are not inclined to keep this petition pending or issue further directions, except that the proceedings drawn should be concluded expeditiously so as to remove the encroachment, after giving personal hearing to persons alleged to be encroachers, within a period of three months.

4. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
