O R D E R
This criminal original petition is filed to direct the respondent to comply with the order passed by the learned Metropolitan Magistrate, Additional Court for Exclusive Trial of cases registered and investigated by CCB Greater Chennai Police, Egmore, Chennai, in Crl.M.P.No.48432 of 2024 by order dated 24.01.2025.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is a public bank; the petitioner bank has given a complaint to the respondent police, against three persons, viz., Muthu Lakshmi, Balakrishnan and Rajeshwari, in respect of fraud and misappropriation 2/6
of funds.

He would further submit that the learned Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai, by order dated 24.01.2025, had directed the respondent to conduct an enquiry and file a report to the concerned Court, within a period of 3 months. However, despite lapse of 3 months, report has not been filed. Therefore, the present petition is filed.
4. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), would submit that the Metropolitan Magistrate Court, while directing the respondent to file a report within 3 months from the date of the order, had also directed the petitioner to produce all the relevant documents before the respondent police. However, relevant documents have not been produced to the respondent for completion of enquiry.
5. In reply, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that till date, they have not received any communication from the 3/6
respondent police seeking documents. If written instructions are given to the petitioner, all the relevant documents will be furnished to the respondent police within a period of 2 weeks.
6. In view of the above submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, the respondent police are directed to send a communication to the petitioner seeking all the relevant documents. The petitioner shall furnish the same within a period of 1 week from the date of receipt of a communication from the respondent police. The respondent police shall complete the enquiry and report to the concerned Court within a period of 3 months from today.
7. This criminal original petition is ordered with the above directions.
