O RDER This Writ Petition has been filed for direction directing the first and second respondents to disburse the final settlement amount of the Contributory Pension Scheme (CPS) standing in the name of the deceased employee, Mrs.G.Chitra Devi(CPS No.7130895/EDN) to the petitioner who has been appointed as the legal guardian of the minor daughter T.Tejeswini.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader for the second respondent and perused the materials available on record.

3. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the writ petition, the first and second respondents are directed to disburse the final settlement amount of the Contributory Pension Scheme (CPS) standing in the name of the deceased employee, Mrs.G.Chitra Devi(CPS No.7130895/EDN) to the petitioner who has been appointed as the legal guardian of the minor daughter T.Tejeswini, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
