ORDER

This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 25.08.2025 within a limited time frame for higher compensation due to acquisition of petitioner's property of 94 square feet in Survey No. 135/4B and 142/B3 in Selaiyur Village, Tambaram Taluk, Chengalpattu District. 2.Mr.P.Sathish, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice on

behalf of the respondents. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in the present case, though the award of compensation for acquisition of petitioner's property was st respondent as early as on 31.05.2025, the same was received passed by the 1 by the petitioner only on 22.08.2025. Immediately, upon receipt of the said award, a representation was filed by the petitioner on 25.08.2025 requesting higher compensation. However, the respondents have not considered the said representation till date. In a similar writ petition, this Court has directed the respondents to dispose of the representation of the petitioner therein vide order dated 13.10.2025. Further, he would submit that appeal has been preferred st respondent vide award dated against the compensation fixed by the 1 31.05.2025. Therefore, he prays to directs the respondents to refer the matter to the concerned Principal District Court.

4.Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents

would submit that appropriate orders may be passed and the same will be complied by the respondents.

5.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. 6.Considering the submissions made by either parties and in view of the fact that appeal has been preferred against the award dated 31.05.2025, passed st respondent, the respondents are directed to consider the representation by the 1 of the petitioner dated 25.08.2025 based on the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.38786 of 2025 dated 13.10.2025 and refer the matter to the concerned Principal District Court within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7.With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
