ORDER
Earlier, this Court by an order dated 03.07.2025 partly allowed the Civil Miscellaneous Appeal in CM.A.No.2676 of 2024 directed the respondent to deposit the balance enhanced compensation within a period of eight weeks. Alleging that the judgment has not been complied within a stipulated period, the present Contempt Petition has been filed.
2. Today, when the matter taken up for hearing, both the learned counsel for petitioner and respondent appeared. The learned counsel for respondent submitted that as per the judgment of this court, the respondent deposited the compensation amount of Rs.3,06,943/- in MCOP.No. 733 of 2016 on the file of III Small Causes Court, (Motor Accident Claims Tribunal), Chennai. To that effect, the copy of proceedings submitted before this court. Thus, the judgment passed by this court is duly complied with. Accordingly, this Contempt Petition is closed. The petitioner is permitted to withdraw the said amount within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
