For Respondent(s):in all Crl.O.P.s Mr.A.Gopinath Government Advocate (Crl.Side) COMMON ORDER The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 03.10.2025, for the alleged offence punishable under Section 138 & 142 of NI Act in STC Nos.818 of 2014, 114 of 2024 and 1378 of 2014, on the file of the Judicial Magistrate-I, Krishnagiri District, respondent police, seeks bail.
2. The allegation against the petitioner is that he absconded from appearing before the concerned trial court in STC Nos.818, 114 & 1378 of 2014. Hence, Non Bailable Warrant was issued on 21.04.2025 and he was arrested only recently on 03.10.2025.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is in custody from 03.10.2025. Hence, prayed to grant bail to the petitioner.
4. The learned Government Advocate (criminal side) appearing for the respondent police reported that the matter is posted for arguments for today, that is 31-10-2025. Hence, opposed to granting bail to the petitioners.
5. Considering the fact that the matter is posted for arguments today, if the petitioner is granted bail, there is likely to be further delaying the trial
process. Hence, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioners. The petitioner is at liberty to file a petition after one month if the trial is not concluded.
