The present Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first respondent Police to comply with the order passed by the learned Sessions Judge, Special Court for Trial of Cases under SC/ST (POA) Act, Salem, in R.C.S.No.1 of 2025 (Crl.M.P.No.6 of 2025), dated 29.07.2025.
When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent Police submitted that the order passed by the learned Sessions Judge on 29.07.2025, in R.C.S.No.1 of 2025 (Crl.M.P.No.6 of 2025) has not been communicated to the respondent Police so far. However, the respondent Police have taken note of the said order dated 29.07.2025 today and submitted that they will comply with the same within two months. Recording the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), this Court directs the respondent Police to comply with the order passed by the learned Sessions Judge in R.C.S.No.1 of 2025 (Crl.M.P.No.6 of 2025) dated 29.07.2025, within a period of two months from today.
