The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first and second respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 04.08.2025 and to take appropriate action against the fourth respondent and

to ensure a fair and impartial enquiry into the irregularities, corruption and mismanagement in the Puducherry Market Committee and to protect the members of the petitioner Union from victimization by way of arbitrary transfers, suspensions and disciplinary proceedings.

2. Heard both sides.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner's Association has made a representation before the first respondent on 04.08.2025, alleging various irregularities, corruption and mismanagement as against the respondents 3 and 4 herein and thereby seeking intervention by the first respondent, however, till date, there was no progress and hence, the present Writ Petition.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 04.08.2025 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, after

affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, as well as the third and fourth respondents herein and any other interested parties, if any, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no orders as to costs.
