Mr.S.Udayakumar, Government Advocate (Crl. Side) ********** COMMON ORDER The petitioner, who apprehends arrest for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 8(c), 20(b)(ii)(B), 25 and 29(1) of NDPS Act, 1985 in Crime No.457 of 2025 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The allegation against the petitioner is that, the petitioner is ranked as A4, A5, respectively. Investigation revealed that A1 to A3, who were arrested with 3 kgs of ganja, had allegedly received the contraband from A4 and A5. Hence, the case.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that after the arrest of A1 to A3 it revealed that these petitioners jointly selling 3 kgs of ganja. He further submitted that A5 is having 22 previous cases including 4 NDPS cases and A4 having one previous cases of IPC. Hence, he opposed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record including the First Information Report.

6. Considering the fact that the huge quantity of ganja has seized by these petitioners and supplied the same, A5 is having 22 previous cases including 4 NDPS cases and A4 having one previous case of IPC, if the bail granted to the petitioners, they will commit similar offences, hence this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
