Mr.D.Nitin PRAYER: Civil Miscellaneous Petition is filed under Section 173(1) of the Motor Vehicles Act, to condone the delay of 984 days in filing the appeal in C.M.A.SR.No.161683 of 2025.

O R D E R

This petition has been filed seeking to condone the delay of 984 days in filing the Civil Miscellaneous Appeal. 2.

Though notice has been served on the respondents and their names are printed in the cause list, there is no representation for them. 3.

The reasons adduced in the affidavit filed in support of this petition being satisfactory, this Civil Miscellaneous Petition is ordered and consequently, the delay of 984 days in filing the appeal is condoned, subject to the condition that the petitioner/appellant deposits the entire award amount together with accrued interest and costs, to the credit of the said MCOP No.152 of 2019 on the file of the Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal, Additional District Court, Hosur, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

On such deposit being made, within a period of two weeks, the Tribunal shall deposit the said amount to the credit of MCOP No.152 of 2019 in any one of the Nationalized Banks, in an interest bearing Fixed 2/4

Deposit, initially for a period of one year and renewable thereafter, till the disposal of the appeal.
