The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 24.08.2025, for the offence punishable under Sections 8(c), 20(b)(ii)(B) of NDPS Act, 1985 and 25(1A) of arms Act, 1950, in Crime No.290 of 2025, registered on the file of the respondent, seeks bail. 1/5

2. The allegation against the petitioner is that the petitioner was found in possession of 6 kgs of ganja. Hence, the case.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prays to grant bail to the petitioner.

4. the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police reiterated the prosecution case and submitted that he has involved in selling the contraband to the college students. He further submitted that the petitioner is having no previous case. However, he strongly opposed the grant of bail to the petitioner.

5. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

6. Considering the gravity of the offence committed by the petitioner, wherein petitioner involved in sale of the contraband to the college students, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. 2/5
