The petitioner herein, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 21.08.2025 for the offences punishable under Sections 296(b), 115(2), 118(1), 109 of BNS r/w Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002 in Crime No.195 of 2025, registered on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail. The earlier bail application of the petitioner was dismissed by this Court, vide order dated 09.10.2025 in Crl.O.P.No.27634 of 2025 for the following reasons: "Considering the fact that the petitioner ran over the vehicle on the victim lady and caused severe fractures all over her body, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner."

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent. 3.

Considering the submissions made on both sides and taking note of the fact that the earlier bail petition of the petitioner was dismissed on 09.10.2025, the successive bail petition has been filed immediately on 28.10.2025 without any change of circumstances, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
