This criminal original petition has been filed, to direct the respondent not to harass the petitioner and his memorandum of understanding holder till the conclusion of trial in Cr.No.22 of 2024 on the file of the respondent police.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), would submit that the petitioner has preferred a complaint to the respondent against one Abdul Rahman and others; since the petitioner is an aged person, the respondent police have asked the petitioner to name other witnesses who are aware of the case and other than that, the respondent police have not harassed the petitioner.

3. He would further submit that, now the petitioner's son has been included as a witness in this case and a final report also been filed through e-filing in LTN20230002584C202400220, before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Poonamallee, on 17.12.2024. 2/5
