Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to consider and pass orders on the request letter dated 19.06.2017 submitted 1/4
by the 4th respondent in Na.Ka.No. 389/2014 forthwith enabling the 5th respondent to process the pension proposal dated 9.12.2016 submitted by the 4th respondent for grant of Family Pension to the petitioner and its consequential benefits including 24 percent interest with effect from the date of death of petitioner's husband namely Kumar. This writ petition has been filed for direction to the 2nd respondent to consider and pass orders on the request letter dated 19.06.2017 submitted by the 4th respondent in Na.Ka.No. 389/2014 forthwith enabling the 5th respondent to process the pension proposal dated 9.12.2016 submitted by the 4th respondent for grant of Family Pension to the petitioner and its consequential benefits including 24 2/4
percent interest with effect from the date of death of petitioner's husband namely Kumar.

Heard, the learned counsel appearing on either side. 3.
Without expressing any opinion on merits of the writ petition, the second respondent is directed to consider the request letter dated 19.06.2017 submitted by the 4th respondent in Na.Ka.No. 389/2014 and to pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of this order. 4.
With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
