ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for issue of writ of mandamus directing the respondents and in particular, the 2 nd respondent to deal with the representation made by the petitioner on 22.08.2025, wherein, the petitioner is seeking for the cancellation of the individual patta granted in favour of the 4 th respondent with respect to the subject property and to restore the joint patta to its original status.

3/6 2.Heard Mr.A.Saravanan, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr.D.Ravichander, learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of respondents 1 to 3.

3.The grievance of the petitioner is that the 4 th respondent by suppressing the pendency of the suit took advantage of the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.27522 of 2024 and managed to get the separate patta in her name without issuing notice to the petitioner. Hence, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 22.08.2025, for cancellation of the individual patta granted in favour of the 4 th respondent and for restoration of the joint patta. Since the same was not considered, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.

4.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the 2 nd

4/6 respondent to act upon the representation made by the petitioner on 22.08.2025 after affording an opportunity to the 4 th respondent and pass final orders on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
