Alleging that the order of this Court dated 22.09.2025 in W.P.No.36295 of 2025 has not been complied with, the present Contempt Petition has been filed under the Contempt of Courts Act. The petitioners had filed a Writ Petition in W.P.No.36295 of 2025 to consider their representation dated 09.09.2025 to forbear the respondents from relaxing the conditions or qualification prescribed for awarding promotion to the posted governed by TWAD Board Service Regulations in TWAD Board Engineering Services and TWAD Board Subordinate Engineering Services. This Court, vide order dated 22.09.2025, without going into the merits of the case, directed the respondents herein to consider the petitioners' representation dated 09.09.2025 and pass orders on its own merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of that order. 3.
Today, Mr.V.Hariharan, the learned counsel for the respondents submitted that the order of this Court dated 22.09.2025 has been complied with in letter and spirit and that the representation of the petitioners has been considered. He further submitted that a communication dated 2/4
22.10.2025 vide Letter No.36295/Estt (Per)/A2/2025 to that effect has also been sent to the petitioners.

Having heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and upon perusal of the materials available on record, this Court of the opinion that the order of this Court in W.P.No.36295 of 2025 dated 22.09.2025 has been complied with and that the act of the respondents would not amount to contempt of Court.

Accordingly, this Contempt Petition stands closed. 09.04.2026 ham To 1.
