ORDER

This Writ Petition is being disposed of in terms of the averments in the Counter Affidavit. Relevant portion of the Counter Affidavit is extracted below:- "The Special Tahsildar, Purasawalkam without knowing the 1st Respondent issued the above exemption order and wrongly issued the demand notice to the petitioner society. The Special Tahsildar, Purasawalkam has stated that the land tax demand notice wrongly issued has been withdrawn by his office letter No.A3/004/2025, dated 25.11.2025. Further the above society is not required to pay any land tax due. Therefore, for the above reasons, it may be requested to dismiss this case filed by the society as unnecessary."

2. In view of the above, this Writ Petition stands allowed. No costs. Connected Writ Miscellaneous Petition is closed. 25.03.2026 arb 3/5
