ORDER
This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking to direct the respondents to pass appropriate orders on the appeal petition dated 15.10.2025 by revaluation and Remeasurement of petitioner's superstructure situated in S.No.208/2A to an extent of 256.40 out of 329 sq.meters at Mathigiri Village, Hosur Taluk, and to refix the compensation as per the provisions of the Central Act 20 of 2013.
2.Mr.P.Sathish, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the respondents 1 & 2 and Mrs.S.R.Sumarthy, learned Standing Counsel, takes notice on behalf og the 3rd respondent. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.
3.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner; the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 7 2 and learned standing Counsel appearing for the 3rd respondent.
4.The grievance of the petitioner before this Court is that the petitioner filed an appeal petition dated 15.10.2025 against compensation awarded by the respondents 2 and 3 for the land acquired from the petitioner vide award dated 04.09.2025. However, till date the appeal is kept pending for consideration. 5.Considering the submission made by both the parties and in view of the limited prayer sought for in this writ petition, without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the 1st respondent to consider the appeal petition dated 15.10.2025 filed by the petitioner and dispose of the same on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
