ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.M.Subramaniam J.) The writ on hand has been instituted directing respondents 1 and 4 to remove encroachments along the Kalaiyur Road and channels in Survey Nos. 52/4, 56/2, 57/1, 69/1 and 70/14 in Erandayiravilagam Village, Cuddalore Taluk, Cuddalore District.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that action has been initiated for removal of encroachments. Section 7 notice has already been issued to encroachers on 18.09.2024. However, no final action has been taken for removal of encroachment.

3. May that as it be, authorities competent are bound to follow the procedures and conclude eviction proceedings, as expeditiously as possible.

4. In the present case, already notice under Section 7 has been issued to encroachers. That being the factum, authorities shall proceed with all further process, and conclude eviction proceedings by affording an

opportunity to all the parties, including the encroachers, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
