ORDER
The petitioners, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the second respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Section 85 of BNS, 2023 and under Sections 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, in Crime No. 12 of 2025, on the file of the second respondent Police, seeks anticipatory bail.
2. The case of the prosecution is that the first petitioner married the de-facto complainant in the year 2014. Out of their wedlock, they were blessed with two sons. The 1st petitioner is the husband of the de-facto complainant; 2nd petitioner is the brother of the 1st petitioner; 3rd petitioner is the mother-in-law of the de-facto complainant and the 4th petitioner is the sister-in-law of the de-facto complainant. The husband of the de-facto complainant as well as the petitioners/A2 to A4 continuously harassed the de-facto complainant and they demanded more dowry from her. Hence the case.

3.Learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that a false complaint has been given against the petitioners and the petitioners have nothing to do with the said allegations. He further submitted that Inter State Anticipatory bail may be granted to the petitioners to enable them to move the appropriate jurisdictional Court for necessary relief.
4. Taking into consideration, the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to grant Interstate Interim Anticipatory Bail to the petitioners for a period of four weeks from today to enable them to move the concerned Court.
5. Accordingly, Interim Interstate Anticipatory Bail is granted to the petitioners for a period of four weeks, on condition that the petitioners shall surrender before the learned X Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Egmore, Chennai, within a period of fifteen days from the date on which the order copy made ready and the petitioners shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs.15,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Thousand Only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the said learned Magistrate.
