2/7 PRAYER Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent-District Collector, Kallakurichi District to consider and dispose of the petitioners detailed representations dated 19.09.2024 and 21.05.2025 (the later having been acknowledged and forwarded for action under proceedings No.O.Mu.3/ 13108/ 2025 dated 12.06.2025) by conducting a proper inquiry into the patta entries relating to survey Nos.40/2, 40/3E, 40/3F and 44/1 situated at Arumparampattu Village, Vanapuram Taluk, Kallakurichi District and to take appropriate action for rectifying the erroneous entries and restoring the patta in the name of the rightful owner after due verification.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for issue of writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation made by the petitioner wherein, the petitioner is seeking for the rectification of the errors that had taken place

3/7 during the UDR Scheme.

2.Heard Mr.Mohamed Nazar, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr.D.Ravichander, learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3. 3.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the 3 rd respondent to deal with the representation made by the petitioner on 21.05.2025, after affording an opportunity to the petitioner and the private respondents and pass final orders, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

4.This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No Costs. 28-11-2025
