The petitioner, who apprehends arrest by the respondent police for the offences punishable under Section 304(2) of BNS in Crime No.147 of 2025 seeks anticipatory bail.

2.Earlier, this Court granted anticipatory bail to the petitioner in Crl.OP.No.22606 of 2025 dated 14.08.2025 in respect of the very same crime number. At the time of granting bail, the offence registered was under Section 304(2) of BNS. Now, it is stated by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), the offence has been altered to Section 310(2) of BNS. Hence, the present anticipatory bail petition has been filed.

3. Since the petitioner has already been granted anticipatory bail in the very same number and in the same facts, granting second anticipatory bail is not necessary. However, the time granted for the petitioner to execute the sureties in compliance with the earlier order is extended by a further period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
