This writ petition has been filed for the issue of a writ of mandamus directing the 3 rd respondent to include the petitioner in the list of NRI eligible candidates for admission to the All India Medical Council of India 2025-2026 and permit him to participate in the next counselling rounds of Tamil Nadu MBBS NEET-UG 2025-2026 under NRI Quota for admission to the MBBS Course 2/5

2025-2026.

2. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

3. It is brought to the notice of this Court that insofar as the NRI quota is concerned, it came to end, as already third round of counselling was completed and now, it is at the stage of filling of stray vacancies. At that point of time, there is no question of considering NRI quota.

4. In view of the above, nothing survives in this writ petition and accordingly, this writ petition stands dismissed. No costs. Connected W.M.Ps are closed.
