ORDER
This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 22.09.2025 and to reconvey and return the petitioner's land situated in Perumalnayakkanpalayam Village, Panruti (TK) Cuddalore District comprised in Survey No.40/2 and 40/3A acquired by the respondents.
2.Mr.G.Velu, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice on behalf of the respondents. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. 4.The grievance of the petitioner before this Court is that the petitioner made a representation dated 22.09.2025 to the respondents, whereby, he sought to reconvey and return the petitioner's land in Perumalnayakkanpalayam
Village, Panruti (TK) Cuddalore District comprised in Survey No.40/2 and 40/3A, acquired by the Government on the ground that the land acquired was kept vacant without any utilization. However, the same has not been considered by the respondents, so far.
5.This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, as it is for the respondents to consider and decide the same on merits and in accordance with law. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of, only by directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 22.09.2025 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law. Such exercise shall be carried out by the respondents within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
