pertaining to the proceedings whereby the petitioner's absence has been treated as unauthorized in the impugned notice dated 24.01.2025 issued by the Chief Manager, Bank of India, bearing Reference No. KKN:NS:2024-25:24, quash the same, and direct the Respondents to accept and process the Petitioner's resignation dated 20.11.2024, issue relieving and experience certificates, and disburse all pending terminal benefits, including salary dues, rent allowances, and other lawful entitlements For Petitioner : Ms.S.Priya

This writ petition has been filed challenging the notice dated 24.01.2025 thereby calling upon the petitioner to submit explanation for her unauthorised absence.

The petitioner had joined in the service of the respondents as Scale II Manager. However due to health issue, she was constrained to 2/5

avail medical leave from 18.10.2024 to 18.11.2024. She resumed duty on 19.11.2024 on the requisite medical certificate. However the petitioner was transferred to Puducherry branch. Since the petitioner could not join in the Puducherry branch, she offered resignation by the communication dated 20.11.2024. Without considering the same the petitioner has been served with notice dated 24.01.2025 calling upon her to submit explanation for her unauthorised absence. Even after receipt of the notice dated 24.01.2025, the petitioner submitted several communications offering resignation. However the resignation letter has not been considered so far.

In view of the above, the respondents are directed to consider the resignation letter submitted by the petitioner and to pass orders within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of this order. 4.

With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. 3/5

Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
