PRAYER Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 528 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023/Section 482 Cr.P.C. to direct the second respondent police to complete the investigation and file FIR before the XIV Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Egmore, Chennai in accordance with the order dated 16.07.2025 in Crl.M.P.No.7004 of 2025 passed by the XIV Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Egmore, Chennai within a period stipulated by this Hon'ble Court.

ORDER

This criminal original petition is filed to direct the 2nd respondent police to complete the investigation and file the FIR before the XIV Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Egmore, Chennai in accordance with the order dated 16.07.2025 in Crl.M.P.No.7004 of 2025 passed by the XIV Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Egmore, Chennai within a period stipulated by this Court. 2.

Mr.B. Natarajan, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the accused broke open the hospital premises of the petitioner and caused heavy damage to the articles lying inside resulting in the petitioner lodging a complaint with the 1st respondent, which came to be transferred to the 2nd respondent. However, the 2nd respondent did not take any action. Therefore, the

petitioner approached the XIV Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Egmore, Chennai, by way of Crl.M.P. No. 7004 of 2025 and the learned Magistrate, by order dated 16.07.2025, taking into consideration the serious allegation of looting of things from the building worth about a crore of rupees, directed the respondent Police to conduct a detailed enquiry. However, the enquiry has not been conducted so far.

When the matter was taken up, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that the order of the learned Magistrate has been received by the 2nd respondent and the said order will be complied with and a report, in regard thereto, will be filed before the Court concerned within a period of two weeks.

Recording the above submission of the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), the criminal original petition stands closed directing the 2nd respondent to conduct a detailed enquiry, as per the order dated 16.07.2025 in Crl.M.P. No. 7004 of 2025, conclude the same and file a report before the Court concerned within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
