Respondent(s) PRAYER:- Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking issuance of writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to dispose the representation dated 25.03.2025 by consider the petitioner's application dated

12.05.2014 and grant the quarrying lease along with the necessary permit in favor. The Permit is requested for a period of 50 days to remove Savudu, with an estimated quantity of 4,860 lorry loads, from S.F.No.216 OWD tank of Magarlal village, Thiruvallur District.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for a mandamus, directing the respondents to dispose the petitioner's representation dated 25.03.2025 by considering the petitioner's application dated 12.05.2014 and grant the quarrying lease along with the necessary permit in favor.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that petitioner made a representation on 25.03.2025 for grant of quarry license for removal of Savudu sand in the S.F.No.216, OWD Tank of Magarlal Village, Thiruvallur District. He would submit that this Court may issue a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation and pass appropriate orders.

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the respondents will consider the representation of the petitioner dated 25.03.2025 and pass appropriate orders on the same within a specified time.

4. In view of the said submission, this Court directs the 3rd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 25.03.2025 and pass appropriate orders on the same, in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
