Respondent(s) PRAYER:This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to dispose petitioner representation dated 25.03.2025 by consider petitioner application dated 01.10.2013 and grant the quarrying lease along with the necessary permit the petitioner favor. The permit is requested for a period of 50 days to remove savudu, with an estimated quantity of 4,860/- lorry loads, from S.F.No. 216 OWD tank of Magarlal village, Thiruvallur District. ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to dispose petitioner representation dated 25.03.2025 by considering petitioner application dated 01.10.2013 and to grant the quarrying lease along with the necessary permit in favour of the petitioner.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner gave a representation dated 25.03.2025 to the respondents to grant quarrying lease along with the necessary permit in favour of the petitioner. The permit is requested for a period of 50 days to remove savudu, with an estimated quantity of 4,860/- lorry loads, from S.F.No. 216 OWD tank of Magarlal village, Thiruvallur District. However, the same has not been considered by the

respondents till date. Hence, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that necessary direction be issued to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner within a time frame as fixed by Court. 3.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 and 5 to 7 submitted that the representation will be considered and orders will be passed within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and in view of the limited request sought for by the petitioner, this court directs the first respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 25.03.2025 within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, in accordance with law, after providing an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and to any other aggrieved party.
