O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed for direction directing the first and second respondents to initiate the disciplinary proceedings against the third and fourth respondents based on the petitioner's representations cum complaints.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Counsel appearing for the first and second respondents and perused the materials available on record.

3. The petitioner originally joined in the Government service and subsequently, he was promoted as Prosthetic Technician Grade-II. Now, the petitioner presently working at Government Kilpauk Medical College Hospital and he is eligible to the post of Prosthetic Technician Grade-I. Therefore, the petitioner submitted representations cum complaints seeking promotion to the post of Prosthetic Technician Grade-I. Since there are two vacancies in the said post, the first respondent prepared a panel for the year 2/4

2023-2024 for the post of Prosthetic Technician Grade-I and the petitioner's name was found at S.No.2 and the person mentioned in S.No.1 had got superannuated on 30.04.2024. Thereafter, on receipt of the said representations cum complaints, the second respondent now proceeds with the enquiry.

4. In view of the above, the second respondent is directed to dispose of the representations cum complaints submitted by the petitioner and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
