Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records pertaining to the proceedings of the second respondent i Se.Mu.A.No.A2/571/2025 (2) dated 14.10.2025 and quash the same as illegal, incompetent and ultravires and consequently direct the respondents to reinstate the petitioner in the post of Block Technology Manager at Sembanarkoil Block, Mayiladuthurai District.

This writ petition has been filed challenging the order dated 14.10.2025 passed by the second respondent.
2. Heard the learned counsel for both sides and perused the materials available on record.
3. The petitioner was appointed as Block Technology Manager at Kollidam Block, Mayiladuthurai District, under the Agricultural Technology Management Agency Scheme. While being so, he was absent from duty for 4 2/5
days in of July, 2 days in August, 9 days in September and 3 days in October. For the said absence, the petitioner was terminated from service.
4. Admittedly, the petitioner was working as a Block Technology Manager for the past 12 years. However, the impugned order has been passed without conducting any enquiry and without affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner. Therefore, the impugned order cannot be sustained, as it is in clear violation of principals of natural justice. Hence, the seocnd respondent cannot terminate the petitioner without conducting an enquiry and without giving him an opportunity of being heard.
5. In view of the above, the impugned order dated 14.10.2025 is hereby quashed and the matter is remitted back to the second respondent for fresh consideration. Thereafter, the second respondent shall issue notice to the petitioner and after affording him an opportunity of personal hearing, pass orders on merits and in accordance with law.

6. In the result, this Writ Petition is allowed. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed. No costs. 17.11.2025 Index:Yes/No kv To
