This writ petition has been filed for direction to the second respondent to release the salary of the petitioner for the month of October 2025.

The petitioner had joined as Headmaster cum Correspondent of Fathima Government Aided Boys' High School, Karuvadikuppam, Puducherry. However, his salary was not paid right from 01.06.2023 i.e. from the date of his joining in the post of Fathima Government Aided Boys' High School, Karuvadikuppam, Puducherry. Though the school had sent proposal on several occasions, it is not yet considered so far and the petitioner is not paid any salary.

Admittedly, Fathima Government Aided Boys' High School, Karuvadikuppam, Puducherry in which the petitioner is working as Headmaster is grant-in-aid school and the petitioner was appointed in the sanctioned post. Further, the petitioner is a regular employee. Therefore, the second respondent cannot raise any objection to release his salary on the ground that the petitioner got transferred from another school from Tamilnadu under the same management of the diocese to the 2/4

aforementioned school situated at Puducherry. The said school is a minority school and Government aided school.

In view of the above, the second respondent is directed to disburse the salary of the petitioner with effect from 01.06.2023 to till date within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of this order. 5.

With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
