This application has been filed to condone the delay of 540 days in filing the written statement of the first defendant in C.S.No.281 of 2024, and to take on record the Adoption Memo filed by the defendants 2 to 6. 2.

The written statement filed by the first defendant has been adopted by the defendants 2 to 6. To that effect, they have filed a Memo dated 08.09.205. The said Memo dated 08.09.2025 is taken on record. 3.

The defendants had earlier filed an application in A.No.6407 of 2025, seeking 'rejection of the plaint' in Tr.C.S.No.281 of 2024, as the plaintiff do not have any cause of action. Owing to the long pendency of the said application, the defendants did not file their written statement, under the bonafide impression that the civil suit would be rejected. As a result, they were unable to file a written statement within the time. 4.

The other side has not raised any serious objections. 5.

Heard both sides.

Considering the reasons stated in the affidavit, the circumstances of the case, and in order to give a fair chance to the applicant, this Court is of the view that this application deserves to be allowed. 7.

Accordingly, this application is allowed, and the delay of 540 days
