Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to sanction all retirement benefits ie.,Gratuity, Earned Leave Salary and to pay the monetary benefits and disburse the arrears of Rs.1,39,264/- along with interest for the belated payment of gratuity, earned leave and the arrears of salary at the rate of 12 percentage from the date of retirement of the petitioner i.e. 30.09.2023 till the date of payment.

For Petitioner : Mr.N.K.Ponraj For Respondents : Dr.T.Seenivasan Special Government Pleader O RDER This Writ Petition has been filed for direction directing the respondents to sanction all retirement benefits ie.,Gratuity, Earned Leave Salary and to pay the monetary benefits and disburse the arrears of Rs.1,39,264/- along with interest for the belated payment of gratuity, earned leave and the arrears of salary at the rate of 12 percentage from the date of retirement of the petitioner i.e. 30.09.2023 till the date of payment.

2. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. The petitioner made a representation dated 15.10.2025 for sanction and disbursement of his retirement benefits before the second respondent and the same has not been considered. Hence, this writ petition.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the writ petition, the respondents are

directed to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 15.10.2025 seeking retirement benefits and pass orders along with applicable interest, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
