Prayer: Review Application filed under Order XLVII, Rule 1 read with Section 114 of Civil Procedure Code, pleased to set aside the Para No.36 of the order in W.P.No.32698 of 2023 dated 10.07.2024, on the file of this Court in so far as it denies the benefit of the order in W.P.No.32698 of 2023 dated 10.07.2024, is concerned and to issue a consequential direction to the respondent Nos.1 to 3 to extend the benefit of the order of this Court in W.P.No.32698 of 2023, to these petitioners.

[Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.] Review Application has been filed to review the order of this Court dated 10.07.2024 passed in W.P.No.32698 of 2023.

2. The applicants are not appointed as teachers. They are aspirants seeking public employment in Education Department on the ground that qualification of Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) cannot be held as mandatory. Issue regarding passing of Teachers Eligibility Test is no more res integra

as Hon'ble Supreme Court of India held that qualification of Teachers Eligibility Test prescribed by the National Council for Teacher Education is mandatory for all recruitments in teaching line.

3. That apart, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3 brings to the notice of this Court that against the present judgment sought to be reviewed, Special Leave Petition has been filed and Apex Court granted stay on 04.04.2025 in Special Leave Petition (Civil) Diary No.7184 of 2025.
