Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to accept the petitioner's application bearing No.PR/2024/5738 dated 22.11.2024 and further to direct the respondents to enroll the petitioner as an advocate with the Bar Council of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by R.SURESH KUMAR, J.) The prayer sought in this writ petition is for a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to accept the petitioner's application bearing No.PR/2024/5738 dated 22.11.2024 and further to direct the respondents to enroll the petitioner as an advocate with the Bar Council of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.

2. The petitioner, after completing the Law Degree, has made an application to the respondent, that is the Bar Council of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry, for getting him enrolled in the roll of the Bar Council of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry as an advocate. The said application though has been made long back and it has been pending consideration, but, no fruitful action has been taken by the respondents, therefore, he has approached this Court, seeking a mandamus.

3. After notice, today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that, the process of the application submitted by the petitioner having been completed and is ready for inclusion of his name in the next enrollment meeting. On that date,

the petitioner's name also would be included as one of the candidate for getting enrolled.

4. The said submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the respondents is taken on record. In view of the same, there is no further adjudication required in this matter and recording the said submission made by the learned counsel for the respondents, the present writ petition is disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
