ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for direction to the 1st and 2nd respondents to appoint any other competent police official as investigation officer to conduct investigation by considering the petitioner's complaint dt. 20.03.2025 and 10.10.2025 pending on the file of the 3rd respondent police.

On instruction, the learned Counsel for Government of Tamil Nadu (Criminal Side) appearing for respondents submitted that on receipt of the complaint of the petitioner, it was forwarded to the third respondent. Subsequently, the said complaint was forwarded to the file of the Inspector of Police, H3 Tondiarpet Police Station, Chennai. 3.

In view of the above submission, the Inspector of Police, H3 Tondiarpet Police Station, Chennai is directed to conduct enquiry on the complaint lodged by the petitioner and to dispose of the said complaint on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
