Rajendran No.20/12, Kambar Street, Rajaram Mehta Nagar, Chennai 059 in the interest of justice and pass further or other orders as this Court.

ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking to amend the cause title by substituting the name of the Joint Secretary shown in the 2nd Respondent in the Cause title from "Mr. S.G. Rajan, No.09, Main Road, Rajaram Mehta Nagar, Chennai 600 059" to "T.N. Rajendran No.20/12, Kambar Street, Rajaram Mehta Nagar, Chennai 600 059".

According to the petitioner, in the Second Appeal in S.A.No.3 of 2015, the name of the Joint Secretary was mentioned as Mr. S.G. Rajan. It is stated that the said Mr. S.G. Rajan has passed away on 28.03.2018, and that presently, Mr. T.N. Rajendran, No.20/12, Kambar Street, Rajaram Mehta Nagar, Chennai - 59, is functioning as the Joint Secretary of the Rajaram Mehta Nagar Association. Hence, this present petition has been filed seeking substitution of his name in the cause title.

Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the records.

The other side has not raised any serious objection to the allowing of this petition.

Considering the fact that due to the death of the then Joint Secretary of the second respondent Welfare Association, namely, Mr. S.G. Rajan, the applicant seeks to substitute Mr. T.N. Rajendran, the present Joint Secretary of the said Association, in his place, this Court is inclined to allow the petition.

Accordingly, this petition is allowed as prayed for. 7.

Registry is directed to carry out the necessary corrections in the cause title and wherever required and list the matter 23.02.2026. 10-02-2026 klt
