Prayer : Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to disburse the belated payment of interest amount of provident Fund, Gratuity and Earned Leave Salary amounts and other unsettle benefits of Difference Amount in Gratuity, EL Surrender and pension Arrears as per 12 th wage settlement and 10 days salary amounts with effect from 01.03.2024 within the stipulated time as may be fixed by this Court.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction, directing the respondent to disburse the belated payment of provident Fund, Gratuity and Earned Leave Salary amounts and other unsettle benefits of difference amount in Gratuity, Earned Leave Surrender and pension arrears as per 12 th wage settlement and 10 days salary amounts with effect from 01.03.2024 along with interest. 2.The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents would submit that the eligible amount will be paid to the petitioner within a reasonable time as may be fixed by this Court.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that, 2/5

in all the connected matters, this Court has consistently allowed the payment with interest at the rate of 6% per annum.

In view of the above, the respondent is directed to disburse the belated payment of Provident Fund, Gratuity and Earned Leave Salary and to calculate the differential gratuity, leave encashment and pension arrears as per the 12(3) Settlement and as per the eligibility of the petitioner under the Rules. The said amount shall be paid to the petitioner within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order along with interest at the rate of 6% per annum from the date on which the amount became due, till the date of disbursement.

5.With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
