2.The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance 2/5
of Writ of directing the first respondent to consider the petitioner's explanation dated 15.07.2025, to issue a passport on the petitioner's application ref. No.25-1052258363 (File No.TR1075083757225) and to renewal/ re-issue the passport No.N0636562.
3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner applied for renewal of passport and he was asked to appear before the first respondent and the petitioner also appeared before the first respondent and thereafter the petitioner made representation to the first respondent seeking renewal of his passport, however, there is no response. Hence, this Court may without going into the merits of the case, issue direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation/ explanation dated 15.07.2025 and to pass appropriate orders, within a reasonable time frame. 4.Considering the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation/ explanation dated 15.07.2025, on merits and in accordance with law and to pass appropriate orders, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
