Sub Application is filed to reopen the contempt petition which was closed on 03.10.2024. The reason for filing the Sub Application appears to be the information received by the petitioner from the concerned Magisterial Court Page Nos.1/4

that the closure of the F.I.R in Crime No.104 of 2023 registered by the respondent police not been intimated to the Court.

2. The affidavit filed by the contemnor reveals that the investigation in Crime No.104 of 2023 was completed and closed as 'mistake of fact' and Referred Charge Sheet No.1 of 2023 dated 04.05.2023 was served to the defacto complainant and acknowledgement obtained.

3. The Judicial Magistrate No.II, Nagapattinam, has posted the matter on 16.03.2026 for enquiring the defacto complainant and for passing further orders.

4. In view of the above facts, nothing survives in this Sub Application. Hence, the Sub Application stands closed.
